This workshop will take you through skills training for each of the Hyrox exercises and work with you to design a training programme that will enhance your performance in every area. You will understand the training methods that can be used to fully utilise your sessions to improve your overall Hyrox performance. We will discuss how focusing on the key elements of performance - explosive power, speed, strength - within a strength and conditioning setting will aid in improving your technique. 

This will be led by our highly qualified Strength and Conditioning coach, 

Lauren Adams, and multiple Hyrox Champion, Harry Thompson. 

Harry will take a Q&A session and reveal his training routine, diet and strategy. 


Harry is a current professional elite-level Hyrox athlete with a number of event wins in both Pro Men’s Singles and Doubles, and won the u29 World Championship title in the 2023/24 season. He was invited to 2 of the 4 Elite Majors in 2023/24 and recently competed in the Elite field in Washington, shortly after breaking the Men’s Pro Doubles World Record in Manchester.

He has gone under 60 mins a number of times in the Men’s Pro field across multiple events and two seasons and has consistently seen his race timings fall since starting Hyrox in 2022.


He is looking forward to the 2024/25 Hyrox season and cementing his place in the Men’s Elite field next year.

Join our HYROX programme designed to help improve your strength and endurance. 

As one of the first gyms in Manchester to become HYROX affiliated, we're able to offer bespoke HYROX training programmes, offer members early releases of competition dates and discounts on comp entries and kit. We'll also be hosting bootcamps in the run-up to HYROX events. 

These classes are a great way to kick your training up a gear; whether you're training for a specific event or just looking to improve your overall fitness, these sessions provide accountability and encouragement delivered in small group sessions.

What is HYROX?

HYROX combines both running & functional workout stations, where participants run 1km, followed by 1 functional workout station, repeated eight times.

This race format remains consistent across the globe, enabling global leaderboards & a cumulative World Championships at the end of each race season.

Accommodating both professional athletes and everyday fitness enthusiasts looking to take their training to the next level, HYROX is the sport for everybody.
