What is this course and is it suitable for me?

There is no required fitness or skill level to join this programme.

The MMA Beginner's Course is an introduction to MMA that will give you the foundation knowledge to enable you to move with confidence into our intermediate classes. MMA is a complex martial art that takes a commitment of time to see progression. In order to improve at a rate where you'll feel satisfied, you need to be training at least twice a week, preferably 3-4 times. This course will help you to develop good training habits and help you to feel like you are making good ground in the early stages of your training.
In each class, you'll learn important concepts and movements that underpin the sport and drill techniques with a partner. At the end of the course, you'll be able to demonstrate what you've learned and then graduate into the mixed ability MMA classes.
You'll receive high level coaching from a professional fighter and the option to add the kit package for an extra £45. Gloves, shin guards and a gum shield will be ready for you on your first session. All you will need to bring is a close-fitting t-shirt or rash guard and shorts or leggings. The course is split over 6 weeks with 3 training sessions per week on Tuesday and Thursday at 6pm and Saturday at 11am.
What does it cost?
The whole 18 session course is only £150. You'll have the option of adding in all your kit for £45. The course fee is paid up-front and then you will continue onto a rolling membership* of £75pcm straight after you have graduated from the 6 weeks. This allows you access to over 50 weekly classes on the gym timetable, meaning you'll be consistent with the great new habit you'll have developed.
