A 10 week technical course to get you proficient in the foundations of Olympic Weight Lifting designed for absolute beginners.


The sport of Weightlifting demands a combination of many aspects of athleticism. To be effective you must be fast, strong, agile, mobile and powerful to name just a few. Our Olympic Lifting courses give you the building blocks to develop these attributes with a focus towards Olympic Lifting performance.


As part of our Olympic Lifting beginners’ course, you will be taught the fundamentals of Olympic Weightlifting and learn to perform the Snatch and the Clean & Jerk. Your performance will be assessed and monitored throughout the course in order to measure your improvement.


The 10 week course includes:

  • Initial assessment and form analysis
  • Two coach led classes per week
  • Online video content 
  • Two additional programmed sessions for those who want to maximise their progress
  • Access to the gym to carry out additional training


The class will be kept to 6 people in order to ensure that you get a good level of personal tuition from the coach. 


Classes are Tuesday and Thursday at 6.30pm
